While the promotional events for ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ are on
in full swing, leading lady Katrina has been away from it all. But it
has nothing to do with any problems with Salman. The poor girl has been
lying low for the past few days because of a bad case of food poisoning
which had her bedridden at the Imperial Hotel during the promotions in
Delhi.
As per the plan, Kat and Salman wanted to do every single promotional event related to the film and flew to Delhi for this. But a few days earlier, Kat along with Arpita Khan, Alvira Agnihotri and Mini Mathur gorged on some scrumptious food at Mohammed Ali Road known for its Muslim delicacies.
A source reveals, “The moment she reached Delhi, something was wrong as she showed signs of ill-health especially when she walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra looking extremely pale. Things worsened the next day when she could barely get up because of a bad tummy. A doctor was called in and she was heavily medicated which gave her no option but to miss out on the ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ promos – mall visits, interviews, studio events.” Salman and director Kabir Khan had to do them but only after ensuring that Katrina wasn’t alone in her room and had been well taken care of.
The source further states, “Since she was given heavy antibiotics, Katrina couldn’t make it to the events held in the evening in the capital and was feeling very bad about it.”
